What is a Community Assistant?

Community Assistants help ensure our residents have the best possible experience at our communities — one of healthy living, academic success and a spirit of community. They also assist in marketing campaigns, leasing efforts, residence life programs and communicating with parents. And, it’s a great opportunity to start building your career in student housing or to get the skills you need to succeed in any field you choose.

Our hiring process.

Step 1

Find an open position and complete an online application.

Step 2

Submit a video application by the deadline. (Instructions will come via email.)

Step 3

Participate in a group interview with on-site staff and other applicants.

Step 4

Meet with the General Manager for a formal, one-on-one interview.

What’s a video application?

It’s a quick and easy way for us to get to know you. After you apply online for an open CA position, we’ll send you an email with instructions for your video application.

Your video should be submitted no later than the application deadline. Don't have a webcam on your computer? Your university library or career services center might have designated areas and equipment for recording presentations and/or video applications. If not, your nearby ACC community might have study rooms equipped with camera-ready computers you are welcome to use.
