Does submitting an application for housing and paying the reservation deposit guarantee me a space on-campus?
No, because space is limited, space is only guaranteed after the execution of a housing contract.

What are the Housing Requirements at Texas A&M-San Antonio?
The University has implemented a housing requirement stating all first-year students live on campus. Any student with fewer than 30 earned semester hours, who wishes to reside off-campus may be eligible to live off campus after an Exemption Form is submitted and approved through the University. For more information click here.
What is an individual housing contract?
An individual housing contract provides each resident with their own separate housing contract and responsibility for only his/her monthly rent installment and applicable utility and parking charges. By signing an individual housing contract, you are only taking responsibility for your rent installment and housing contract terms and will not be held liable for any delinquent amounts owed by your roommate(s).
Do you send me a bill every month?
No, bills are not sent to residents each month, but you may see payment reminders posted around the property.
When is the rent installment due?
Rent installments are processed through the Texas A&M- San Antonio University Business Services Office. Please contact TAMU-SA Business Services for questions regarding rent and to set up a payment plan.
Are there insurance requirements for signing a lease at the community?
Renters insurance is not required but highly recommended. Coverage for your personal belongings is not included as part of your Lease Agreement. Renters insurance can provide coverage for loss or damage to your personal belongings (including fire, theft, or natural causes).

Am I allowed to request a specific unit?
You can list your preferences on your housing application, and we will do our best to place you in the unit that fits those requests. All requests are served on a first-come, first-served basis and are taken in order based on the date your housing contract was received. Based on availability, residents who renew will receive priority to request a specific unit.
Can I request specific roommates?
Yes! You can search for and match with specific roommates in the RoomSync app. Change your mind? No problem! You can modify your matches if your preferences change up until the matching period close date.
Do you have a roommate matching service?
Yes, we utilize RoomSync as our roommate matching software. You will receive an invitation to create a profile on RoomSync after you have signed your housing contract. You may be able to match with another resident based on your roommate matching preferences. Whenever possible, a mutual roommate request will be honored.
