American Campus Communities Earns Distinction With Five Innovator Awards

The nation’s largest student housing company continues to lead the industry with 48 total Innovator Awards  

May 6, 2022 -- AUSTIN, Texas.American Campus Communities (ACC: NYSE) has once again been granted multiple awards at the 14th Annual InterFace Student Housing Conference, on Thursday, May 5th. 

Each year, Student Housing Business recognizes the best in the industry of student housing solutions with its prestigious Innovator Awards. These awards highlight excellence across multiple categories, including architectural design, financing, development, and marketing of properties on-and off-campus in the U.S.
ACC exhibited yet another year of impressive growth and innovation, garnering the five following awards for 2022:
  • On-campus: Best Renovation of Existing University Housing: Bentley Hall, Drexel University 

  • On-Campus: Best Public-Private Financing Solution: Arizona State University Transaction 

  • On-Campus: Best Use of Green & Sustainable Construction/Development: Manzanita Square, San Francisco State University

  • On-Campus: Best Architecture/Design: North District Residence Hall, the University of California, Riverside 

  • Best Social Media Campaign: Hook ‘Em Lounge

Winners were announced during a special event at the 14th Annual InterFace Student Housing Conference on May 5th in Austin, TX.This year’s contest included over 140 entries evaluated by industry experts across the country.
